Dr Alice Lee gained her bachelor degree in Genetics and first exposure to the respective field in King’s College London, United Kingdom. Subsequently, she pursued her masters degree in the same field in Imperial College London, United Kingdom. During that time, she did a research project at Harvard Medical School, United States. Later, she attained her doctorate in Haematology (Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation) at University College London, United Kingdom. For her thesis, Dr Lee investigated the impact of Alemtuzumab on stem cells and immune cells in cord blood and peripheral blood, genotyped patients to tailor the best prophylaxis/conditioning regimen for oncology patients and generated Natural Killer Cells from Haematopoietic Stem Cells for immunotherapy. During her PhD journey, she worked closely in collaboration with different disciplines and world-class experts in scientific research (both genetics and stem cells) at Royal Free Hospital, Paul O’Gorman research centre, and Anthony Nolan Research Institute, which founded United Kingdom first public charity stem cell bank and registry.

Besides, Dr Alice has been a member of various associations such as European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT), British Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (BSBMT), and European Congress of Immunology (ECI). She has presented her work in multiple congresses in Europe and public talks in both London and Malaysia. In addition, Dr Lee also has her work published in peer-reviewed journals such as PloSone, Transplantation, Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) etc.

Dr Alice Lee founded ADCAS and, has since, work as the Chief Executive and Clinical Geneticist of the wellness clinic. Her key priorities have been to build the brand, to implement ambitious strategies to deliver the company’s motto “For You, We Care” at its best.
